Chris is an award-winning costume designer, having a very successful career in Hollywood. Her Los Angeles costuming credits include You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Groundlings Theatre, The Killing Game at Company of Angels, Comedies By Shakespeare and The Runaways at Richmond Shepard Theatre. Earlier, she was the resident costume designer at Open City Theatre in Atlanta where she designed several productions including a Creative Loafing Theatre Award for her work on The Rosewater Treeroom.
She won the L.A. Weekly Theatre Best Costuming Award for her design work in Comedies By Shakespeare, and has received numerous accolades for millinery design under the guise of her company, That Garrison Girl. Since returning to Atlanta, Chris has costumed Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at the 14th Street Playhouse, Tales of Scheherazade for The Actor’s Edge at Duluth’s Red Clay Theatre, and Rucker: The Lost Country Dog for the Roswell Historical Society’s Rucker Fest.
